Elizabeth Bradfield
Writer/naturalist Elizabeth Bradfield is the author of four poetry collections, most recently Toward Antarctica, and the collaboration with artist Antonia Contro, Theorem. Her poems and essays have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry, The Atlantic Monthly, Orion and elsewhere. For the past twenty-some years, she has worked as a naturalist/guide on ships both at home and in remote places around the world. Winner of the Audre Lorde Prize from the Publishing Triangle, finalist for the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets, her awards also include a Stegner Fellowship and a residency at the Vermont Studio Center. Founder and editor-in-chief of Broadsided Press, she lives on Cape Cod with her partner and is Associate Professor and co-director of creative writing at Brandeis University.
