Makes me think about the pervasiveness of mobile technology - it's difficult for me NOT to turn to my phone in moments of potential mindfulness.
Angie Clark

When we allow information to be digested, we have a lens to see things more clearly.
Cynthia Pederson
40:33
Be mindful of everyone having different experiences, so there is no one size fits all approach.
Mary Carlson
41:18
Grounding ourselves (contemplative mindfulness) is preliminary to service to others.

43:44
Mindfulness for me is about witnessing thoughts. Allowing the information to be absorbed and then trusting my intuition on how to take action. Rather than simply reacting out of rising emotions or reacting based on learned behavior, I should do this because X did this when this happened to them.
Season Ellison

There are so many strong connections between this work and the best acting techniques. You have to listen with all senses and truly connect (action) with others.

I think “I don’t have time” needs to change (for me) to “I don’t have time for me”
Angie Clark
01:00:38
I have to meditate first thing in the morning, otherwise, my day gets busy and I lose track of time. At night, I get too tired and fall asleep. Now, I wake up 20 minutes earlier and before I do anything, meditate. I do it before I look at email, social media, or cook. First thing.
Mary Carlson
01:00:50
Actually schedule a time, even if for only 5 minutes. Just do it. Follow through.
Jay Passa
01:01:04
As a beginner, how often should I practice mindfulness?
Gina Walkup
01:01:28
I will need to make a habit of it. Setting a time and set a reminder on my phone.
Mary Carlson
01:01:36
Can you say more about walking meditation?
Beverly Hodgson
01:02:08
I love to journal. I find it a good way to let things go that are weighing on my mind.

I’ve been using “Calm” on occasion at night. I’d like to use it more often.
Angie Clark
01:11:07
One suggestion is to give up a small time waster and replace it with something more productive. For me, it was sleeping in. Replaced it with meditation.Others might want to give up 10 minutes of social media or something else that no longer serves their higher good.
Donna Pawlowski
