In Adult Basic Education we see a similar stop out and return repeatedly. It is common. We see many of them eventually succeed. Love the Perseverance term

totally agree, Tracii! Most often students don't WANT to leave school, but there are many obstacles/barriers. I think in a lot of ways, it's harder to re-start than it is to start!

I think it's helpful to have outreach efforts to these students because sometimes their administrative obstacles might not be so insurmountable when they return and can be resolved.

Adult Promise programs are in Kentucky and Colorado I believe...many of these are free or very low cost.
