Validated - we've seen a great number of requests to support CDL training.
The labor shortages in health sciences surprise me all the time, especially with the current layoffs.

Analyzing employment and labor force trends during COVID are certainly eye-opening. It'll be interesting to see how wages trend in the near future among different occupations.
Also interesting to see how industries adapt to virtual work and the lack of skilled employees.

Certainly need to get people up to speed with tech/Microsoft office skills, as shown by those gaps
CTE must help students "see themselves" in these industry, which is more than just giving them the industry data. Experience in job shadowing might help students think about health or software jobs.
Disseminating data to stakeholders not understanding or having the time to listen to webinars such as this.

Our consortium has to help with the health care crisis, but how do you that with shortage of health teachers and high cost of having a health care program... We are investigating this. The date emphasized this need.
There still remains an education for folks about what different types of careers that exist and what they are -- manufacturing isn't what it used to be, as an example
