Community Racial Healing Circle
Rooted in indigenous tradition, this compassion-based platform provides opportunity for sharing lived truths, and emphasizes active listening and being open to differing perspectives. The goal is to promote understanding, racial healing and racial equity.
To maintain the integrity of the circle, participants should remain for the full 1 1/2 session. This circle is facilitated by the Diversity Department of North Hennepin Community College, and the session will involve question prompts by the facilitator. Small group and large group discussion. The racial healing circle framework is a structured environment focused on sharing one's experience. The racial healing circle does not call for debate, judgement or having solutions - but rather it is a time of sharing for compassion.

NOTE: PARTICIPANTS ARE ASKED TO HAVE THEIR CAMERAS ON, BE ON TIME, AND STAY FOR THE DURATION.

Anyone arriving post the beginning of the circle is kindly asked to join us at future opportunities. Thank you for being a part of the healing with us!
